PPS Annual Sense Lunch a Success!

Proving that there is still the opportunity for business to engage and support charity the PPS Annual Lunch in aid of Sense was this year held at Carters of Moseley on February 3rd 2012.

This is the second event held in aid of Sense sponsored by PPS and was arranged by MD Kirsty Davies-Chinnock with Jo Watkin from Purple Cat Accountancy and with Linda Sherriff.

Linda has been fundraising for Sense for many years and following her retirement she suggested they made use of Kirsty’s restaurant contacts to arrange an informal and accessible lunch. In this age of austerity having a smaller venue and an affordable ticket price means the lunch is quickly sold out whilst raising an impressive amount for the charity. Having a local independent restaurant to host the lunch in partnership with Professional Polishing Services Ltd meant that the lunch for 35 people raised £1314.00.

Kirsty said “We have been very privileged to have yet again a fantastic response from the restaurant and the guests. I particularly want to say a huge ‘thank you’ to Brad Carter and Holly Jackson for their amazing support and generosity“.
